Presentations - UVic'S Professor Emeritus Dr. Nancy Turner
The Friends of Cedar Hill Park have the privilege of UVic's professor emeritus Nancy Turner as an honorary member, a friend and a mentor to our Society. Professor Turner has kindly allowed us to share two talks she has presented to our community. We hope you enjoy these articles and that you will be prompted to join us in protecting this area for future generations and all species that make it their home or migrate through it.
First we have a link (below) to a document in pdf format that Nancy presented to The Quadra Cedar Hill Community Association in January 2015 titled "Almost Lost" a talk about Cedar Hill Park Link.
We have a further link to Dr. Turner's presentation at the 50th anniversary of Cedar Hill Park on September 24th 2017 with some associated images titled: CHP as Home Territory for the Straits Salish People. Turner Presentation September 24 2017
