Bird Surveys
The Friends of CHP have sponsored periodic bird surveys throughout the park since 2017. The surveys for 2020, 2021 and 2022 are presented below. The locations of the areas within the Park referenced in the surveys are shown here.
We have been very fortunate to have two passionate people to conduct bird surveys. Our first Saanich bird expert was Liam Singh who completed seasonal bird counts from 2017 until 2021. Bird surveys in 2022 have been conducted by Caitlin Acquroff.
